Why do I write?
It started with reading, reading, and you guessed it...reading! I was an avid reader of Christian fiction (still am) and sometimes the books didn't end as I thought they should, the story didn't go in the direction I would have taken it or the issues didn't seem very realistic. So, I decided to give it a try. The Lord placed a story on my heart and in six short months, I finished Trials of Faith. Little did I know, I knew nothing about the mechanics of writing a novel! It took several months and several revisions to get a contract on this story of my heart. My writing has continued to improve as I've taken online classes, networked with other authors and become involved with critique groups. As a result, my second novel Trails of Love is now available! I'm currently working on many other projects as well and you can read about them by clicking In the Works.
Over the years, my writing has expanded to include non-fiction devotionals for women. Lessons from Chaz can be found in Rest Stops for Busy Moms. You can also read a current testimony of how the Lord is working in my heart by clicking on Let's Talk Faith. These little devotionals have become my favorite things to share because I want others to be blessed by reading what the Lord has taught me.
